More ways to recycle

The council gives you three main ways to recycle, but there are things that they don’t accept that can still be recycled. Before we tell you more about that, make sure that you’re familiar with what the council already recycles.

On this page, you’ll find all of the information you need to be more green in Seaford. The two main ways to make sure items avoid a landfill is to either recycle it, or (if it’s in good enough condition) donate it.

Help Seaford becoming plastic free

Plastic Free Seaford is a group for the community to motivate and educate people on how we can combat plastic waste. The group runs beach clean-ups and offers lots of information on how to be greener. You can even hire a party set from them to make your next kid’s birthday party less wasteful.

Find out more about the group and how you can get involved through their website. They also have a Facebook page you can follow.
